Our Legal Marriage Ceremony

On February 29, 2020 (yes, the leap day), we decided to have a small legal marriage ceremony in our backyard in Hollywood, CA. We were planning to have a big ceremony (including our vows, rings, etc.) with our families and friends on October 16, 2020 (our initial wedding date). However, a global pandemic sidelined that plan. 

Here are some photos from our legal ceremony. Lynarion Hubbard Spellman (Karoliina's good friend in Los Angeles) was our officiant. Toby Hemingway (Adam's brother) was our witness. The photograph of all four of us was shot with a timer.
